22 Feb Scared to Commit?
Okay first and foremost, I’d like to clarify that I am not a designer here at H2H. Our designers are incredibly talented and they would never have the issues that I do. So please know everything you’re reading is coming from an inexperienced little 22 year old pup who was just recently thrown into the design world.
Decorating is hard. I’m indecisive, cheap, and the little creative juice I have is put towards the sarcastic one liners I use to insult my little sister. Point being, I’ve been in my apartment for over a year now and all the walls are still bare… Let’s be honest, the only “décor” I have are a few succulent arrangements that I’ve somehow already managed to kill. In my defense, there’s not much you can do when you have a landlord that won’t allow you to do anything. (Lame.) But I am writing this blog to share with you the gold mine I have recently discovered- Temporary wallpaper.
Wallpaper is back baby, and boy is it taking the design world by storm. Again, I am no expert in interior design so I realize I might be a bit late to the party. As of two weeks ago, I had no idea this stuff even existed… let alone aware that it’s as big as it is right now. Back to the point of it being temporary, this is ideal for those in rentals, those who change their style frequently, kids bedrooms they’ll eventually grow out of, etc. The benefits are endless. A peel and stick application makes it easy to install and easy to take down (and adjust if you mess up). I’ve been on the hunt for what I want to put up on my bedroom wall, and here’s the best of the best sites that I’ve found:
Super cool site. They have eclectic, fun and funky wall tiles which allow you to flip around and arrange yourself. They also have wall graphics and surface skins to spice up other spots of your home as well!
Great selection! They also have a fabulous designer collection. There is truly something for everyone on this site.
Super adorable and super chic. They also have helpful installation videos!
Another one of my favorites. (Plus, take $25 off your order of $100 instantly) They have a huge selection and they have murals. They run a bit pricier than the wallpapers, but they are amazing. AMAZING.
Great for the kiddos! These wallpapers are too adorable. They also sell half kits, dry erase and chalkboard decals. So fun.
