Fun Halloween Decor Ideas!

Fun Halloween Decor Ideas!

When I was a kid Halloween was definitely my favorite holiday.  Haunted houses, dressing up, witches and goblins, what isn’t there to love about this holiday?  Halloween officially kicks off the holiday season!   One of the most fun parts of this holiday is all of the Halloween decor out there to help get everyone into the fun spirit.  We thought we would take the time to help you with some fun ideas that we have found while cruising the web!

Halloween Decor

Pumpkins:  The ever infamous pumpkins.  There is so much more to do with pumpkins then just carving them now a days.  Painting pumpkins has become popular, glittering them for a more formal look, you can even bedazzle pumpkins as well.  We still think you can’t go wrong with the traditional carved pumpkin, but if that isn’t your thing this buzzfeed article has a lot of options.

Halloween Decor

Ghosts:  There are so many fun and creative way to decorate with ghosts.  Have a sheet hanging from your porch, or drawing them into your windows or mirror.  Our personal favorite is using chicken wire in your front yard to give the appearance of ghosts hanging out.  Check out this link see just how easy it is to achieve some ghostly neighbors.

Halloween Decor

Skeletons:  There are so many fun ways to get creative with skeletons.  From a graveyard in your front yard to having a greeter welcoming your guests.  Even just having bits and pieces lying around can add a little haunting element to your home.

Halloween Decor

Bats:  I have never really thought of including bats into my Halloween decorations, but once I started to look for ideas, they were everywhere.  Bats could be placed on walls, in a fireplace or around the front door.  We have seen some really fun and creatives uses of bats and we really think we might incorporate them into our decor this year.

Halloween Decor

Witches:  Halloween decor wouldn’t be complete without some witches in the mix.  We personally love the idea of a witches legs hanging outside the fireplace or from under a rug.  However there are some many other fun things to do from door wreathes to table toppers.  Witches should definitely be included in the festivities.

These fun ideas have really gotten us excited for Halloween.  Hopefully some of these ideas inspire you to get creative this Halloween.  Let us know what some of your favorites are.
